We are the premier dog training, boarding and breeding kennel in Malaysia. Dog training is our core operations. Most of the dogs that we sell are imported breed that are carefully selected before it is flown to Malaysia. Occasionaly we do sell locally bred dogs provided they are of superior quality. Though we mainly deal with German Sheperds, we have fair share of experience, training and selling other breeds such as Rottweilers, Doberman, Malinois, Golden Retriever, Labrador, Pit Bull Terrier, Poodles and many more. We offer our extended services on dog handling and caring through this web portal for our customers and dog owners in Malaysia. Our objective is create a more responsbile and caring dog owner community in Malaysia. Through years of experience I have come across network of dog owners in Malaysia who consider their dogs more than just a pet, they are part of their family. For some they are more special than their immediate spouse or even children. We have understood the importance they place on their dogs safety when they are away from their homes, hence take all the necessary meassure to ensure the dogs’s well being during training and boarding.
We built collaboration with our principles in Germany, Czech Republic and Netherlands to have access to exceptional working dog bloodlines and training systems for effective dog handling and motivation building. Years of experience and attaining knowledge from best trainers in the world is unmatched in this region. Hence our hands-on approach in our work is as best as it gets. This is the kind of work where there’s more doing than working. The days starts with activity and it’s full of excitement and suprises that only years of experience can prepare one to deal with. Dogs are highly social and sensitive more than any other animal from the animal kingdom. They hold a unique and superior place amongst human and it takes a lot for us to understand them before we can take advantage of their gifts. When a dogs enters Westerwald Kennel, I take equal amount of time and energy to lean and understand it’s temperament before I can do what’s best for the dog and its owner. Hence my work also involves also educating the owner to ensure a simbiotic lifestyle can be maintained between the dog and it’s owner.
